Career Opportunities for Majors in Biochemistry

The major in biochemistry contains two program tracks, one in molecular biology and biochemistry (offered by the School of Arts & Sciences), the other in biochemistry alone (offered by the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences, formerly Cook College). Both tracks prepare students for graduate study in related fields, medicine and other health professions, or employment in industries involving biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, scientific research, and agricultural development.
